Starting today, I have a small new website that is automatically archiving all of the aviation prog charts.
The need for this arises from research pertaining to weather forecasts, and the fact that such an archive does not seem to exist anywhere else.
I am happy to present two term papers that I just finished writing at Eastern Michigan University:
Challenges Faced by Airline Pilots
and
Runway Incursions 2000–2010: Is Safety Improving?
These papers contain the results of a survey that I conducted as part of my research. Many hours of study were devoted to these assignments, and I am proud of the results!
Today marks a new beginning in aviation for me. The morning weather is perfect, the wind is lively, and I am absorbing knowledge of airplanes like a sponge.
Auspiciously, I received a letter from the Federal Aviation Administration as I was leaving to go to the airport. Its contents were totally unremarkable, yet provided some light reading when I arrived a few minutes early.
My decision to embark on this career path comes after years of informal study and preparation for the formal and extremely professional journey ahead.
